Using natural objects from the sea and land in lighting brings organic soul into a room.  Lighting is powerful.  It’s just great to walk into dining room and rest your eyes on a dynamic, textural and big chandelier made from seashells and corals.  It is unexpected, lots of fun and certainly appetizing!  Seashells and Corals have such amazing shapes.  Shells can be effectively used in a repeat design in lighting, and corals add that wonderful, free asymmetry that lends interest to an object.  Shell sconces can be truly elaborate and elegant, if they are large, or cute and even humorous when small.  Some of the shell chandeliers I’ve made in the past would be fit for a palace, they are so luxurious and grand.  Most, though, just lend a natural and sophisticated quality to a room.  Have a look at some of the lighting I have made over the years…
